They fill my inbox, unbidden and unwanted. Breathless urgings to sign an online petition to save the 12-toed bugaroo or stop the senseless attack on semi-colons.
I have nothing against semi-colons, mind you. And I’m sure the 12-toed bugaroo is a charming and ecologically critical something-or-other.
